Interdisciplinary Research Network on the Americas (RIIA)

RIIA (Red de Investigación Interdisciplinaria de las Américas) [LINK] is a research and collaboration network founded by students and graduates of the MA The Americas/Las Américas at FAU that supports academic exchange between Germany/Europe and the Americas. The network connects undergraduates, graduate students, researchers, and professors conducting research on the Americas. It focuses on the asymmetrical power relations and the historical dynamics of domination and vulnerability in the Americas and seeks to counteract them by revealing and advancingforms of knowledge production and initiatives of social transformation.
